Description

Maybury Material Handling is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our office team. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate processing of parts orders, quotes, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and fulfill work order part requests and sales requests from customers and service technicians.
  • Prepare and submit quotes for parts sales and service requests, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Track and manage parts orders, including back orders, from initiation to delivery.
  • Coordinate with technicians and service coordinators to ensure accurate parts fulfillment.
  • Generate van restock reports and process parts transfers for service van replenishment.
  • Order non-stocking parts and process purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parts-related concerns to support satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new Parts Department associates.
  • Participate in special projects and provide general departmental support as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in parts coordination, inventory, or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications; solid typing/data entry skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, percentages, and commissions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
